The people of Ogoloma in Okrika Local Government Area has been assured that the Youth Development Centre in the area would be out into use.
This assurance was given by the Sole Administrator of Okrika Local Government Area, Engr Tamunobipiboye Isodiki (KSC) when he paid a courtesy visit to the Amanyanabo of Ogoloma, HRM King Emmanuel T. I. Obudibo Ikwo V at his residence in Port Harcourt as part of his meet the traditional rulers tour of recognized kings in the local government area.
Engr Isodiki explained that the Youth Development Center will be equipped and make functional to serve the interest of the youth
The Sole Administrator said “it is a very important project that will offer skills to our youth to be self employed”.
He further said, “during the short stay of my administration, the Ogoloma Community will benefit from projects to be embark upon by the government”.
On incessant stealings in the area, the Sole Administrator said efforts would be made to collaborate with other stakeholders to address the issue .
Sir Isodiki told the King that, the familiarisation visit to royal fathers was to rob mind with the kings to know their needs and factor them into the development plans of the local government.
On the lack of basic amenities for post primary schools in the area, he promised to undertake visits to know areas the local government would come in to assist within available resources.
Speaking later, the Amanyanabo of Ogoloma, HRM King Emmanuel T. I. Obudibo (Ikwo V) noted the change of Government at the State and Local Government and prayed for peace and good governance.
King Obudibo thanked the Sole Administrator for the visit and pledged that his community would give all the needed support to him to move the Local Government forward.
