LASEPA Seals Businesses, Worship Centres Over Violations
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has shut down several businesses across the state for breaching the state’s environmental regulations. The reported crackdown of the agency focused on noise pollution and the unlawful siting of gas refilling plants in unauthorized places. Among the businesses sealed were hotels, religious centers, gas plants and factories found to be violating the state environmental laws. The Rivers State Police Command has banned the illegal practice of officers Subletting their official barracks accommodation to their colleagues after being retired/transferred out of the command.
