Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face South Africa in the semi-final of the ongoing 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations tournament on Thursday May 15, 2025.
The South Africans booked a place in the last four after beating the Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 in the quarter-final. They also earned a place at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup following the win.
The keenly contested encounter ended 0-0 after 90 minutes. Thabang Mahlangu scored the decisive goal in the 105th minute.
Nigeria and South Africa will clash at the Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia, on Thursday.
