An online trending video where the immediate past head of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Monitoring Unit, CP Akin Victor Fakorede was given a standing ovation in a live television show has got netizens reacting.

In the live television programme by Berekete Family TV, an online television station based in Abuja recently, two testifiers, presumably Arabs or from the Middle East testified on the diligent investigations of CP Fakorede which, not only got them off the hook but also restored their human dignity.

But the high point of the show was the public apology rendered by the programme’s anchor man. “And I would want to tender my own unreserved apology because e get wetin I hear about am wey I come dey think say na bad person him be, not knowing that, dat thing dem they talk about principled human beings wey no go allow make you shift them away from the truth, na him be Akin Fakorede principle. Please, I’m sorry, we’re sorry. Thank you.”

Find below a clip of the Berekete TV video and an excerpt of the video for your delight.

Testifier:- Thankfully, thankfully, I thank the Berekete Family and I thank; you know, I don’t want to be repeating because it looks like I’m just publicizing. But God bless CP Akin Fakorede, God bless him, God bless him. . .
Anchor:- (Interjects) Please, all of us in the studio, let’s give CP Akin Fakorede a standing ovation . . .  Akin Fakorede, wherever you are Sir, this is for you Sir. We’re proud of you as a state owned Police officer, may God Almighty continue to bless, protect as well as promote you Sir (Salutes him in absentia).
