The 13 lawmakers of the Abua/Odual Local Government Area Legislative Assembly have been called upon to make laws that will uplift the wellbeing of the people and attract development to the area.
The newly sworn in chairman of the council, Engr Owolobi Michael Ofori gave the charge on Thursday September 4, 2025 during the inauguration of the Vice Chairman elect and official Proclamation of the 11th Legislative Assembly of Abua/Odual LGA.
The ceremony which was held at the legislative chambers of the council at Ayama, Abua Central, headquarters of the LGA attracted dignitaries, Politicians, traditional rulers and opinion leaders, including leader of the Rainbow Coalition in the LGA, Prof Henry Ogiri and others.
Amongst the council lawmakers inaugurated include the Councillor representing the good people of Ward Three, Hon Uloghoman Friday Ikulughan who was extremely grateful to his political mentor, Barr Ukel Akeodi Oyaghiri for finding him worthy to answer the call to serve his people.
We could however, not ascertain as at the time of the report those who emerged as leaders of the Legislative council of the LGA.
