Rivers United Football Club of Port Harcourt, a Nigeria Premier Football League side were on Thursday June 4, 2026 involved in a road accident. The road mishap occurred while the team was travelling to Awka, Anambra State, for their President’s Federation Cup Round of 16 clash against Nasarawa United.
