The CDC Chairman of Rumuolukwu community in Eneka clan, Obio/Akpor local Government area of Rivers State, Comrade Chika Christan Dede has congratulated Rivers State as it celebrate 58 years of its creation.

The community leader, who gave the congratulations in an exclusive chat with our Correspondent in Port Harcourt, the state capital said that if the state is a human being he would have been an adult at 58 years.

He thanked God for journey so far and said that even though, the state is not at the level he envisaged it to be, but it can still be reckoned with in the comity of states in the federation.

He however, asked the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to use the window provided by this year’s democracy day and reinstate back suspended Governor Siminialayi Joseph Fubara come 12th of June so that the Governor can continue his good works.

Comrade Dede thanked the suspended Governor for rehabilitating the fire service station at Rumuodumaya, headquarters of Obio/Akpor LGA, saying that it has reduced fire incidences around the LGA and its environs.

He further stated that said he can’t wait to welcome back Governor Fubara to fasttrack most of the human capital projects that have been left unattended to.

The Rumuolukwu helmsman also pleaded with the construction company handling the Eneka flyover and the ring road to speed up the job to reduce traffic on that area of the road as it’s a very important road leading to the Port Harcourt International Airport.

Chika Dede used the same medium to issue what he called a last warning notice to ODEST Global Resources, a haulage company to desist from parking heavy duty vehicles which have caused traffic nightmares in Eneka, forcing motorists and visitors to avoid visiting Eneka for fear of being trapped in traffic gridlocks.
