The Paramount Ruler of Amalem Community in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness (HRH), Chief Odeamiodi Samuel have commended Rivers State Sole Administrator (SOLAD), Retd Vice Admiral Ibok Ette Ibas on his efforts at uniting the state since his assumption of office in the state.
He also commended the Abua/Odual Sole Administrator, Sir Akroiyobi Animite Arugu on his well deserved appointment as ABOLGA SOLAD and advised him to continue the laudable projects of his predecessor and complete those he can within the short period of his stay in office.
HRH Samuel, who made the commendations in an exclusive chat with our Editor in his palace at Amalem Community on Monday further sued for peace and urged Rivers people to support the SOLAD to enable him accomplish his mission in the state.
He also urged the good people of ABOLGA to support the LGA SOLAD by remaining peaceful at all times because, according to him, “there can be no meaningful development where there’s no peace.”
He said, “I will advise the ABOLGA SOLAD to continue with the good projects of his predecessor and to complete all the ones he can within the short time of his office.
“I’ll also use this opportunity to call on the Rivers SOLAD to remember the Ahoada – Degema road project, which his suspended predecessor has concluded plans to award the contract for its dualisation before the emergency rule proclamation by the President.”
