It’s now confirmed that Iconic Gospel Music Singer, Ron Kenoly is now singing his melodious gospel music to angels in heaven.
His death was confirmed on Monday, February 2, 2026, with tributes pouring in from gospel artistes across the world. He was 81 years old.

Renowned Nigerian Gospel Music Artist, Nathaniel Bassey took to his Instagram handle to mourn the icon, describing Kenoly as a major influence on his journey.
“Dr Ron Kenoly crosses to yonder side. Thank you for inspiring generations of Psalmists like me. I grew up on these songs. And today, others are growing up on ours. Thank you sir,” Bassey wrote.
