The Chairman of Vegetables and Fruits Market Union in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, Comrade Felix Opute has lauded the Rivers State Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok Ette Ibas on the unbiased way he has chosen to run the state.
Comrade Felix Opute said that there were fears in some quarters about his neutrality, but that with the path he has chosen he will gain the trust and respect of Rivers people, including himself.
He thanked the Administrator for visiting Projects sites and giving matching orders to contractors to make sure that projects are completed in record Time
On the peace he was asked to mediate by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the market chairman urged him to keep his eye on the plough so as not to derail, even as he assured him of the readiness of the market Union to work closely with him.
On the sanitation of the state, Comrade Felix Opute asked the sole administrator to put the round peg in a round hole and that with the experience he has gathered in waste management, if the sole administrator should engage him, it will be a plus to his administration because he is going to work tirelessly to make sure that Rivers State remains the glorious garden city it’s known for.
